Hh – Day 1 – Hand

We’re back into the full swing of things! Last week was awesome working on little Thanksgiving projects, but it’s time to get back into our alphabet school time today – starting with Hh is for Hand. However, I am feeling rather festive and, as you can see from today, am prone to put a Christmas twist on our projects.

I had some small scraps of felt and fleece material – I traced Dig’s hands in mitten form and cut them out. Charlie wanted to take part, but when I tried to trace his hands he cried and cried and was much happier to just watch again after that.

To make our mitten hands usable for the holiday season, Dig glued some novelty yarn scraps at the cuff. Then we cut mini paper snowflakes (we just used mine, though) and glued them to the center of each mitten.

Now we have some new lovely decorations!

…And a little video I took at the beginning of our “session” today. A rare treat since Dig usually looks away from the camera now.
